The Houston Texans continue to address their tackle depth.
According to Adam Schefter from ESPN, the Texans have traded with the Arizona Cardinals for tackle Josh Jones and a 2024 seventh-round pick.
Aaron Wilson from KPRC-TV reports the Texans are trading a 2024 fifth-round pick to the Cardinals.
Jones, 26, has started 21 of 47 games for the Cardinals since joining the team as a 2020 third-rounder from Houston. The Fort Bend George Bush alumnus has versatility as both a tackle and a guard, which gives Jones a premium as the Texans work through the injuries at tackle that notably include Tytus Howard’s fractured left hand and Charlie Heck stuck on the physically unable to perform list.
