The Houston Texans fell 33-13 to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 14 at NRG Stadium. Despite trailing 16-13 at halftime, the Texans could not muster any second half offense and faltered against the visitors from the NFC West.
Where does that loss put the Texans in the latest Touchdown Wire NFL power rankings for Week 15?
According to Nick Wojton, the Texans didn’t move from their No. 31 spot in the power rankings from a week ago.
The Texans turned things back over to QB Davis Mills. The rookie will remain under center for the remainder of the season. In the beginning of his final audition, of sorts, Mills fell to 0-7 as a starter in a 33-13 easy win for the Seahawks in Houston. It was close for about the first quarter, at least.
The Jacksonville Jaguars continue to lose, and it will entrench them as the worst team in the power rankings. The Tennessee Titans shut them out 20-0 at TIAA Bank Field, and the first place team in the AFC South stayed at their No. 6 position.
The Indianapolis Colts were on a bye week and stayed at No. 9 overall.
Houston faces Jacksonville Sunday at 12:00 p.m. Central Time at TIAA Bank Field. Not only will power ranking placement be on the line, but so will draft order.
