Texans S Jalen Pitre being evaluated for a concussion against the Colts

Houston Texans rookie safety Jalen Pitre was evaluated for a concussion in the fourth quarter of Week 18 against the Indianapolis Colts.

The Houston Texans may not be without one of their leading tackles as they close out the regular season against the Indianapolis Colts.

Early in the fourth quarter, rookie safety Jalen Pitre was being evaluated for a concussion. Initially the second-rounder from Baylor was taken to the blue medical tent on the sideline before being escorted by medical staff into the locker room at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Pitre left the Week 18 contest with eight combined tackles.

The Stafford High School product had 139 combined tackles, eight pass breakups, a fumble recovery, and five interceptions coming into the final week of the regular season.
