A shoulder injury to Nico Collins will force the Houston Texans to look at other options at receiver, either on their roster or outside the building.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Texans may be without the services of their third-round rookie receiver for the next three to four weeks.
Collins sustained the injury in the first quarter of the Texans’ 31-21 loss to the Cleveland Browns in Week 2 Sunday afternoon at FirstEnergy Stadium. The former Michigan wideout finished the game with a catch for 32 yards.
Houston also lost wideout Danny Amendola in that game to a hamstring injury. Coming off of a short week and getting ready for Thursday Night Football against the Carolina Panthers at NRG Stadium, his availability is uncertain.
Collins has two catches for 39 yards through the first two games, one of which he started.
