Texans respond to Jets’ coffin-corner punt with 98-yard TD drive

The Texans ate up more than eight minutes on a 98-yard TD drive

Even when these New York Jets do something write, it turns out wrong.

Veteran punter Thomas Morstead boomed a 75-yard punt in the second quarter of the game with the Houston Texans on Thursday at MetLife Stadium … actually MetLife-less Stadium.

The Texans came on the field and drove 98 yards for the first points of the game.

Joe Mixon scored on a run to give Houston a 7-0 lead.

The drive ate up 8:23 on the clock and took up 14 plays.
