Texans place DT Ross Blacklock, LB Zach Cunningham on COVID-19 reserve

The Houston Texans have placed defensive tackle Ross Blacklock and linebacker Zach Cunningham on the COVID-19 reserve for Week 4.

The Houston Texans will need their depth to step up on defense when they take on the Buffalo Bills Sunday at 12:00 p.m. Central Time from Highmark Stadium.

The team announced Friday they have placed defensive tackle Ross Blacklock and linebacker Zach Cunningham on the COVID-19 reserve.

Blacklock had missed practice on Thursday with what the team labeled as an illness. The former 2020 second-round pick from TCU was a full participant in practice on Wednesday.

On the season, Blacklock has generated five combined tackles, 1.0 sack, a forced fumble, and two quarterback hits through three games.

Cunningham was not on the injury report at all this week. Through three games, the former 2017 second-round pick has collected 28 combined tackles and a pass breakup in two starts.
