The Houston Texans already were without Nico Collins. On Tuesday, they learned C.J. Stroud also will not have Stefon Diggs when the AFC South leaders play the New York Jets on Thursday at MetLife Stadium.
Diggs, who decided to play out his contract and test free agency after this season, will miss the rest of the 2024 campaign with a torn ACL.
