The Houston Texans stayed in a familiar place after their Week 7 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
According to Nick Wojton of the Touchdown Wire, the 31-5 loss to the Cardinals kept them in last place in the power rankings.
An early safety for the Texans made things interesting. The rest of the game was anything but as the Cardinals rolled to a 31-5 win.
Part of Houston’s problem was the offense never ignited. The defense could only hold on for so long until the Cardinals offense heated up. With the offense providing no effective complement to the defense, the Texans endured the blowout.
Around the rest of the AFC South, the Tennessee Titans managed to demolish the Kansas City Chiefs, which improved their ranking from No. 9 to No. 6 overall. With a Sunday night win over the San Francisco 49ers, the Indianapolis Colts improved from No. 21 to No. 18. The Jacksonville Jaguars were on a bye week and stayed at No. 30 overall.
