The Houston Texans have made a couple of moves ahead of their Week 7 showdown with the Arizona Cardinals Sunday at 3:25 p.m. Central Time at State Farm Stadium.
Houston activated linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis from injured reserve. The 6-0, 231-pound linebacker had been placed on injured reserve on Sept. 16 after sustaining a hamstring injury at the end of preseason. Pierre-Louis will be eligible to see his first playing time of the 2021 campaign.
The Texans also used one of their standard elevations on center-guard Cole Toner. The former Los Angeles Charger could also his first action of the season as the Texans are working through some availability issues along the interior offensive line. Starting center Justin Britt is questionable with a knee injury, and Justin McCray could start once more in his place. Houston would need more depth along the offensive line.
If Toner were to get in the game, it would also be his first action of the season.
