The Houston Texans continue to get healthy players.
The team announced Thursday that defensive end Chase Winovich passed his physical and can now come off of the physically unable to perform list.
Houston signed Winovich in free agency to help with their edge defense. The former New England Patriots 2019 third-rounder joined the Texans as a veteran solution as the team continued to address the position through the draft.
The former Michigan product played for the Patriots for 45 games through the 2021 season, collecting 11.0 sacks. Winovich signed with the Cleveland Browns last season and appeared in eight games with two starts and collecting 1.0 sack.
