Texans activate 21-day window for RB David Johnson to return from injured reserve

The Houston Texans have activated the 21-day window to bring running back David Johnson back from injured reserve.

The Houston Texans could be getting some reinforcements at running back.

The club announced Wednesday they have activated the 21-day window for running back David Johnson to return from injured reserve. The former 2016 All-Pro was placed on injured reserve after during Week 10 with a concussion.

Houston also activated linebacker Kyle Emanuel from injured reserve, starting the 21-day window. Emanuel played in two games for the Texans in Weeks 6-7, playing a total of 35 special teams snaps.

The Texans also signed defensive tackle Corey Liuget from the practice squad to the active roster. Rookie defensive tackle Ross Blacklock did not practice Wednesday due to an illness.

Houston also added receiver J’Von Moore and cornerback Manny Patterson to the practice squad. The two free agents worked out for the Texans last week.
