Terry Rozier ranked No. 81 in ESPN’s Top 100 NBA rankings

After not being ranked last season, Scary Terry makes his way into the ESPN’s NBArank.

The 2021-22 NBA season is on the horizon as media days and training camps are approaching on the calendar.

Before the season begins, it’s only right to kick off a new NBA campaign with player rankings, which ESPN has put together with their NBArank.

On Tuesday, ESPN’s NBA staff released the first 50 players in the top 100 rankings, which included Charlotte Hornets guard Terry Rozier at No. 81, who makes his debut on ESPN’s NBArank.

Tim Bontemps of ESPN elaborates on Rozier’s ranking:

“Year two alongside LaMelo Ball. Rozier’s three-year contract with Charlotte in 2019 was seen by many as an overpay. Instead, he has proven to be a perfect fit with the Hornets, especially now that he’s playing alongside LaMelo Ball, allowing him to be a ballhawk on defense against opposing point guards and play shooting guard offensively. As a result, the Hornets signed Rozier to a multi-year extension this offseason.”

Last season, Scary Terry averaged a career-high 20.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.2 assists including shooting a career-high 45.0% from the field.
