Terance Mann finished 1 assist shy of a triple-double in the G League

The Clippers’ second-round pick nearly recorded his first career triple-double in the G League on Tuesday night.

Los Angeles Clippers rookie Terance Mann nearly recorded his first career triple-double Tuesday night on assignment with the Agua Caliente Clippers in the G League.

The second-round pick tallied 22 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists in the 116-110 loss to the Stockton Kings. Mann finished by shooting 10-of-16 from the field while he also added one steal. He was successful in penetrating and finishing or finding the open man throughout the contest.

Mann has shuttled back and forth between the NBA and the G League this season. In 17 G League games, he is averaging 15.5 points, 8.8 rebounds and 6.8 assists with the AC Clippers.

Mann has teased a triple-double on a few occasions this season, most recently on Feb. 27 when he recorded 15 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists. He would have become the 14th different player to register a triple-double in the G League this season, according to RealGM.

The AC Clippers return to action on Friday against the Texas Legends.
