Mother Nature played havoc with the University of Tennessee baseball team’s schedule Friday as its series opener at Texas A&M was rained out.
The No. 5 Volunteers (30-8, 10-5 SEC) will now play a doubleheader against Texas A&M (22-17, 4-11 SEC) at Olsen Field at Blue Ball Park on Saturday.
First pitch for the opener is slated for 3 p.m. EDT.
The nightcap between Tennessee and Texas A&M will begin approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
Both games will be streamed on SEC Network+.
The Vols and Aggies are scheduled to conclude their three-game SEC series on Sunday.
First pitch is slated for 1 p.m. EDT and the game will be broadcast on SEC Network.
