No. 7 Tennessee (3-0) will play No. 13 Oklahoma (3-0) to open SEC play Saturday in Week 4 of the 2024 college football season.
Kickoff between the Vols and the Sooners is slated for 7:30 p.m. EDT at Memorial Stadium in Norman, Oklahoma. ABC will televise the contest.
Saturday will mark the eighth time the Vols have played on Sept. 21. Tennessee is 3-4 in games played on this date and have lost four consecutive games on Sept. 21.
The Vols last played on Sept. 21 in 2019, losing, 34-3, to Florida. Tennessee has played the Gators four times on Sept. 21 and lost all contests.
The Vols first played on Sept. 21 in 1963 and defeated Richmond. Tennessee also has wins on Sept. 21 against Kansas (1974) and Mississippi State (1991).
