Following a devastating loss to the Baltimore Ravens that ended their season on Sunday, heads were heavy for the Tennessee Titans.
Running back Derrick Henry never stood a chance, as the Ravens’ stout run defense held Henry to just 40 yards on 18 carries.
Despite playing through injuries that nagged him this week and throughout the season, the lone bright spot for the Titans was the performance from second-year wideout, A.J. Brown.
The former Ole Miss rebel hauled in six catches on 10 targets for 86 yards and a touchdown. He was one of the few players on offense who made an impact in this game.

Unfortunately, with under two minutes left in the fourth quarter, quarterback Ryan Tannehill threw a costly interception on a pass targeting fellow wideout Kalif Raymond that pretty much sealed the deal for the Titans.
Had Tannehill not telegraphed this pass to Raymond pre-snap, he would have noticed Brown beating his man off of the line of scrimmage. It would have been a big play, but the Titans could not get it done when it mattered the most.
Head coach Mike Vrabel will have to go back to the drawing board and come back swinging in September. Brown will be a large part of the Titans’ future success and has already cemented himself as one of the best receivers in franchise history after another stellar season.
Honorable mention: Harold Landry played his best game of the season for the Titans. He led Tennessee with 10 tackles and two sacks.
