The Tennessee Titans went into Lucas Oil Stadium in Week 12 looking to avenge an earlier loss to the Indianapolis Colts, and head coach Mike Vrabel’s squad did that and then some with a 45-26 win.
It’s hard to believe that this game was tied at 14 at one point when looking at the final score, but that was indeed the case. However, from there, the Titans dominated in all three phases and pulled away for their blowout win.
Tennessee scored an astounding 35 points in the first two quarters, mostly on the back of running back Derrick Henry, who plowed through the Colts’ defense for 140 first-half rushing yards.
On the other side of the ball, the Titans’ defense really came to play and was much-improved from what we saw in Week 10. The coverage was top-notch and that allowed the pass rush to get some pressure and make Philip Rivers uncomfortable in the pocket.
Let’s take a closer look at the rest of the important details from the Titans’ huge Week 12 victory over the Colts.
