While the majority of the Tennessee Titans’ 2020 offense is set to return in 2021 and is in good shape by default, one position general manager Jon Robinson must focus in on this offseason is wide receiver.
The team’s No. 2 target, Corey Davis, is hitting the open market and should be a top priority among the team’s free agents. If he leaves, the Titans have to add a new secondary target for quarterback Ryan Tannehill.
And, whether Davis leaves or not, and no matter what happens with Adam Humphries, who is a candidate to get cut, the Titans also need to add more depth, something the 2020 team was greatly lacking.
One avenue the Titans can explore to add depth and quite possibly a future No. 2 receiver is during the 2021 NFL draft, and it appears Robinson is already doing his homework there.
According to Justin Melo of Broadway Sports, the Titans are set to meet with Purdue wide receiver Rondale Moore in March.

Moore is one of the more intriguing prospects coming out of this draft class, but there are some concerns about his ability to stay healthy after playing in just seven games the past two years.
When healthy in 2018, the 5-foot-9, 175-pound receiver totaled 114 catches for 1,258 yards and 12 scores, while also adding 213 rushing yards, two scores, and contributing in the return game.
Moore won’t be a typical outside receiver at the next level, but he does bring the kind of versatility and explosiveness as a big-play threat that the Titans could certainly use.
“If you could guarantee you’ll get your hands on a fully healthy Moore, you’re getting a game-breaker who may win you a handful of football games by individual efforts in any season—he’s that dynamic,” Kyle Crabbs of The Draft Network writes. “But the tightrope act that whichever team selects him must walk is balancing as big of a role as possible for him without exposing him to the wear and tear that will routinely cut his season short. ”
One free agent I’m personally interested in bringing to Nashville as a high-end depth piece is Carolina Panthers swiss army knife, Curtis Samuel. Moore is a similar kind of player and would be a great fit in Tennessee’s offense as a depth piece with high upside.
Draft Wire’s Luke Easterling ranked Moore as the No. 7 receiver in the class, so he could still be around when the Titans pick in the bottom half of the second round.
