The Tennessee Titans posted one of the best team receiving grades in the NFL in 2019.
According to Pro Football Focus, the Titans finished second in the league with a receiving grade of 84.6, which placed them behind the San Francisco 49ers and ahead of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

On the strength of a great season by quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who posted the best passer rating and yards per attempt average in the NFL, Titans receivers were extremely efficient.
Undoubtedly leading the pack in that regard was rookie wideout A.J. Brown, who needed just 52 receptions to post 1,051 yards and eight touchdowns through the air.
He also finished second in the NFL in yards per reception with 20.2, and from Week 7 on he graded out as the third-best receiver in the entire league behind Julio Jones and Michael Thomas, per PFF.
In all, the Titans had five of their regular pass-catchers total 12.0 yards per reception or more. That list that includes Brown, Anthony Firkser (14.6), Corey Davis (14.0), Tajae Sharpe (13.2) and Jonnu Smith (12.5).
We didn’t include Kalif Raymond on that list, as he only played in eight games and caught just nine passes during the regular season, but he did average an impressive 18.9 yards per grab in his limited action.
Now that the Titans have brought back 10 of their 11 starters on offense (Jack Conklin will be replaced by 2018 starter, Dennis Kelly) and Tannehill will play a full season in 2020, this unit should pick up where it left off in 2019.
