Tennessee Titans players react to news of more positive COVID-19 tests

Titans players took to Twitter to express their frustration.

The Tennessee Titans were dealt a huge blow on Wednesday as two more players have tested positive for COVID-19 after Tuesday’s round of testing.

This comes after the Titans had two straight days with no positive results and looked on track to re-opening their facility on Wednesday. Not only will that not happen, but the Week 5 game against the Buffalo Bills is now very much in jeopardy, also.

With the two new players added to the list, the Titans have now had 12 players test positive for the virus since September 24, 11 of which have come since last Tuesday.

After news of the positive test results broke, some Titans players took to Twitter to express their frustration with this latest negative development, including fullback Khari Blasingame, who is currently on the Reserve/COVID-19 list himself.

It isn’t clear which two players received these latest positive results. The team will likely announce additions to the Reserve/COVID-19 list later in the day around the time the league transactions list is released after 3 p.m. CDT.

You can follow along with our Titans COVID-19 tracker for all of the latest updates on players who reportedly test positive. We’ll update it once information becomes available about the two new players.
