It appears the Tennessee Titans will be able to take yet another small step towards normalcy on Friday in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
On Thursday, the NFL informed the Titans and the rest of the teams in the league that their coaching staffs can begin returning to their respective facility on Friday, June 5.
Here’s a look at the memo sent by commissioner Roger Goodell to all 32 teams.

The maximum number of employees allowed in a team’s facility has been bumped up to 100, but of course that is dependent upon the restrictions set forth by state and local governments.
While coaches can begin returning to a team’s facility, it looks like we’ll have to wait a bit longer for players. As of right now, only players rehabbing from injury are allowed in the facility, so nothing has changed there.
It isn’t clear when players will be able to return, but Schefter gave us a hint as to when that could happen on Wednesday.
Schefter reported that “multiple people expect that the next time NFL players show up at teams’ training facilities will be for training camp,” which won’t start until July at the earliest.

If that is indeed the case, that would mean minicamps may not take place after all. Yahoo Sports’ Charles Robinson had previously reported that the NFL’s goal was to get minicamps going by mid to late June.
