The Tennessee Titans have added a new offensive lineman to their roster after the team claimed tackle Elijah Nkansah off waivers on Thursday.
Nkansah, who was recently released by the Indianapolis Colts after signing a futures contract with the team, was an undrafted free-agent signing out of Toledo by the Titans back in 2018 but was released after training camp.
Since then, Nkansah has played in just one game during his career, which came in 2018 as a member of the Seattle Seahawks, and he has spent time on the practice squads of the Seahawks, Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans.
With the addition of the 26-year-old, who stands at 6-foot-5 and 315 pounds, the Titans now have 13 offensive linemen on the roster.
Nkansah will have a steep hill to climb if he wants to make the roster out of training camp. Chances are the best-case scenario for him will be to end up on Tennessee’s practice squad.
