The Tennessee Titans’ Reserve/COVID-19 list is now officially empty, as the team announced it has activated safety Kevin Byard, who was placed on the list on Nov. 29.
Byard is the third Titans player to be activated from the COVID-19 list this week after backup quarterback Logan Woodside was activated on Sunday, and practice squad tight end Austin Fort on Monday.
Byard’s activation means he’ll be suiting up for the Week 14 contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars, a game in which Tennessee will be looking to snap a two-game losing streak coming out of its bye week.
A Defensive Player of the Year candidate, Byard has been sensational for the Titans in 2021 after a down year in 2020. His five interceptions are tied for third in the NFL, and he has the highest coverage grade in the AFC, per Pro Football Focus.
The Titans and Jaguars will meet on Sunday at Nissan Stadium, with kickoff set for noon CT.
