Now that final cuts are finished and the Tennessee Titans have whittled their roster down to 53 players, they will turn their attention to putting together their initial practice squad for the 2021 campaign.
For the second straight year, teams will be allowed to carry 16 players on the practice squad, and up to six of those players can have an unlimited number of accrued seasons.
Practice squad moves should begin in earnest on Wednesday around noon EDT after waiver claims are processed. Most of those claims will involve players who were cut from rosters on Tuesday.
We expect to see a good deal of players who were cut by Tennessee re-join via their practice squad. Two players in particular we’re keeping a close eye on are wide receiver Dez Fitzpatrick and Mason Kinsey.
