The Vols join Auburn, Arkansas and Ole Miss out of the SEC, while Baylor and Kansas represent the Big 12. Utah and UCLA are included out of the Pac-12, with Georgia Tech and Louisville from the ACC and Michigan State as the lone Big Ten school.
Salter is a 6-foot-1-inch, 185-pound Cedar Hill, Texas, native and is rated the No. 10 dual-threat quarterback in his class by the 247Sports composite.
