Tennessee will kick off its 2021 season on Sept. 2 against Bowling Green at Neyland Stadium.
Kickoff is slated for 8 p.m. EDT. SEC Network will televise the matchup.
Ahead of the Vols’ opening game, Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker has been named to the 2021 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award preseason watch list.

Hooker transferred to Tennessee from Virginia Tech in January.
He totaled 2,894 passing yards, 22 touchdowns, seven interceptions, 1,033 rushing yards and 14 rushing touchdowns during his Virginia Tech career.
Hooker appeared in eight games, starting six contests in 2020 for the Hokies, while dealing with injuries late in the season.
Hooker completed 65 percent of his passes last season, totaling 1,339 yards, nine touchdowns and five interceptions. The graduate transfer also rushed for 620 yards and nine touchdowns.
