Tennessee has shown that it is not afraid to go across the country to find talent to fit its recruiting needs, and the Vols have continued to do that in offering 2022 tight end Carsen Ryan.
Grateful to @CoachLolohea for the scholarship offer to play football at Tennessee. Excited for this opportunity. #GoVols@T_BirdFootball #B1RDGANG⚡ #MILEWR #LevelUp #UncleRay pic.twitter.com/LcOZFhgaFb

Ryan is from Provo, Utah and has not garnered much attention on a nationwide scale. Only TCU, Arizona State and Utah State have offered Ryan a football scholarship.
Ryan does not have a proper rating on the 247Sports Composite, but does stand at 6-foot-4, 235-pounds, and is still in early in his recruitment as part of the class of 2022.
Tennessee has not gotten great pass-catching production out of its tight ends since Jeremy Pruitt took over in Knoxville.
