Although in-home and on-campus visits are suspended due to the COVID-19 outbreak, college football recruiting has hardly slowed down. In fact, coaches have much more time on their hands without spring practice that the study of and communication with prospects of all ages is likely as high as its been since the signing period.
Tennessee has continued its pursuit of 2022 prospects by offering wide receiver Jaleel Skinner from Greer, S.C.

Greer is a 4-star prospect according to 247Sports, and the No. 10 wide receiver in his class. The recruiting service also has Greer as the top prospect in South Carolina for 2022, and a top-100 prospect across the country.
Greer has a dominant 6-foot-5, 205-pound frame that has attracted the two top programs in his home state. Having just extended an offer, Tennessee is behind South Carolina and Clemson who certainly hope to keep Greer close to home.
Outside linebackers coach Shelton Felton is Greer’s primary recruiter, with help from wide receivers coach Tee Martin. Florida, Penn State, Georgia and Arkansas have also offered Greer.
Tennessee does not yet have a commit in the 2022 recruiting class.
