The 6-foot-1, 202-pound running back is a between-the-tackles runner that has good speed for his size. His junior season saw him make Texas 5A second team all-state. Jenkins also holds offers from Arkansas, BYU and USC.
In-state programs such as Texas Tech, Baylor and Texas State have also extended offers.
While Tennessee has significant depth at the running back position in 2020, it will lose seniors Ty Chandler and Tim Jordan after the season. Running back will be of high importance in the class of 2021.
