Tennessee has reached back into familiar territory, offering a scholarship to Hutchinson Community College defensive end Zykeius Strong.

The Vols are no stranger to recruiting high-profile players out of Hutchinson. Former Tennessee standouts and NFL Pro Bowlers Alvin Kamara and Cordarelle Patterson both made their way to Tennessee via Hutchinson.
Strong, however, does not quite carry the weight of either of those players did, according to recruiting experts. A 6-foot-5, 230-pound strong-side defensive end, Strong does not yet have an official 247Sports rating, but does hold offers from a few Power 5 programs.
The 2021 prospect has offers from Nebraska, South Carolina and Maryland, as well as Tennessee.
The Vols currently have seven players committed to the 2021 recruiting class, with one defensive end included.
