Tennessee has joined the collection of schools that has offered Nashville product Jacob Hood of the 2022 recruiting class, giving the rising junior at Hillsboro High School a chance to play for the Vols’ offensive line.
I am extremely blessed to receive an offer from the university of Tennessee ⚪️🟠@SaintsNashville @BuckFitz @CSmithScout @TheStone64 @Punches_N_B @HillsboroFball @LeverageLineman @NatlPlaymkrsAca pic.twitter.com/Ta1kJZFVwF

Hood does not yet hold a star rating from 247Sports, although he does have offers from Eastern Kentucky, Ole Miss and Texas A&M. Although early on in his career, Hood’s high school tape is impressive due to his undeniable size. Hood weighs in at 6-foot-8, 350-pounds.
While he will almost certainly have to shed some weight on the college level, Hood has a head-turning frame that makes him a nightmare for edge rushers at the high school level.
