Tennessee has offered an in-state tight end.
The Vols offered 2023 tight end prospect Ty Lockwood from Independence High School in Thompson’s Station, Tennessee.
Lockwood is 6-foot-5, 220 pounds. He made the announcement of being offered by Tennessee on Twitter.

“Very blessed to receive an offer from The University of Tennessee,” the in-state 2023 prospect said.
Lockwood holds offers from Ole Miss, Tennessee, Tulane and Virginia. His offer from the Vols came two days after Ole Miss extended their interest to him.
The Vols currently do not have a commitment for its 2023 recruiting class.
