Tennesse has extended an offer to 4-star linebacker Kendrick Blackshire out of Duncanville, Texas. Blackshire is a top prospect in the 2021 recruiting class.

With impressive size at 6-foot-2, 250-pounds, he could make an instant impact on the college level, Blackshire is the No. 4 inside linebacker on the 247Sports Composite, and the No. 22 prospect in the state of Texas for his class.
Alabama, LSU and Oklahoma have been heavily recruiting Blackshire, who also holds offers from programs such as Auburn, Florida, Michigan and several others.
With a commitment, Blackshire would be the highest rated player in Tennessee’s 2021 class. The Vols are fairly top-heavy at inside linebacker in 2020 with sophomore Henry To’o To’o leading the charge, and will certainly be looking to add depth in the coming seasons to a young unit.
Securing Blackshire would be a huge step in that mission, but the 4-star’s recruitment has a long way to go.
