California quarterback Miller Moss is garnering heavy attention as part of the 2021 recruiting class, and he has just received an offer from the alma mater of his head coach at Bishop Alemany High School.

Moss is coached by Casey Clausen, who played quarterback at Tennessee from 2000-03. Clausen is statistically one of the best quarterbacks in Tennessee history, throwing for over 9,700 yards and 75 touchdowns in his four-year career. This puts Clausen No. 2 in Tennessee history in both statistics, behind Peyton Manning.
The Mission Hills native is a 6-foot-2, 197-pound 4-star quarterback on the 247Sports Composite, and rated the No. 5 pro-style quarterback in the country. Moss holds offers from several West Coast schools such as California, UCLA, USC and Oregon. Alabama, Miami, Michigan, Auburn and Georgia are also among the schools with offers on the table.
Moss will play out his senior year at Bishop Alemany as Clausen enters his third season as the head coach in 2020.
While Tennessee’s quarterback room is crowded at the moment, there could be plenty of turnover within the next two seasons with possible transfers and Jarrett Guarantano playing out his final season of eligibility in 2020.
