Johnson stands at 6-foot-5, 210-pounds as a rising junior at Oconee County High School. 247Sports rates him as a 4-star prospect, the No. 7 tight end in his class, and the No. 17 player in Georgia.
Florida, Georgia, Florida State, LSU, Michigan and others have offered Johnson, who has multiple family connections to some of the schools.
Johnson’s father – Brad Johnson – played quarterback at Florida State in the early 1990s before a successful NFL career. Johnson’s brother, Max, is a 4-star quarterback who signed with LSU in the 2020 cycle, and Johnson is the nephew of former Georgia and Miami head coach Mark Richt.
