Tennessee offered a scholarship to 2027 safety prospect Gavin Williams.
“After a great conversation with Coleman Minnis and James Stewart, I’m blessed to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee,” Williams said.
The 6-foot-1, 170-pound safety is from Damien High School in La Verne, California. Williams plays free safety and wide receiver.
There are not recruiting rankings currently for Williams from Rivals, 247Sports, On3 or ESPN.
Tennessee is the second Southeastern Conference school to offer Williams. Texas A&M was the first to offer him a scholarship on Sept. 26.
Williams has scholarship offers from Tennessee, Arizona, Arizona State, Texas A&M, Syracuse and Charlotte.
