Tennessee offered a scholarship to 2026 running back prospect KJ Edwards.
“Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee,” Edwards said.
The 5-foot-9, 175-pound four-star running back prospect is from Carthage High School in Carthage, Texas.
Edwards ranks as the No. 82 overall prospect in the class of 2026. He also ranks as the No. 8 running back and No. 10 prospect in Texas, according to 247Sports.
Edwards has scholarship offers from Tennessee, UNLV, Ole Miss, Oregon, Michigan, UTEP, Mississippi State, Michigan State, USC, Tulsa, Stanford, Miami, Texas A&M, TCU, Wisconsin, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, Georgia, Baylor, Texas, Houston, Sam Houston State, Nebraska, SMU, UTSA and Texas Tech.
The Vols have two commitments in their 2026 recruiting class: Quarterback Faizon Brandon and tight end Carson Sneed.
