2026 defensive lineman Zakir Abdul-Salaam was offered a scholarship by Tennessee.
“Tennessee offered,” Abdul-Salaam said.
Abdul-Salaam received a scholarship from the Vols’ staff after attending a camp on June 9.
The 6-foot-1.5, 225-pound defensive lineman is from McEachern High School in Powder Springs, Georgia.
There are not recruiting rankings currently for Sanders from Rivals, 247Sports, On3 or ESPN.
Tennessee is the fifth Southeastern Conference school to offer Abdul-Salaam a scholarship.
Abdul-Salaam has scholarship offers from Tennessee, Jackson State, South Carolina, Indiana, Miami University, Wake Forest, Kentucky, Charlotte, Vanderbilt, Temple, Arkansas State, UConn, Texas A&M, Toledo and Marshall.
Marshall was the first school to offer Abdul-Salaam a scholarship on Jan. 20.
