Tennessee is aiming to get an early start on recruiting the class of 2025.
The Volunteers offered a scholarship to 4-star wide receiver Caleb Cunningham on Jan. 31.
“I am blessed to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee,” Cunningham posted on social media.
The 6-foot-3, 175-pound wide receiver is from Choctaw County High School in Ackerman, Mississippi. He is ranked as the No. 1 player in the state for the class of 2025. Cunningham is rated as the No. 10 player in the country and the No. 1 wide receiver, according to the On3 Sports consensus rankings.
As a freshman in 2021, he finished the season with 569 receiving yards and 10 receiving touchdowns. Cunningham recorded 323 receiving yards last season.
He holds offers from 11 Power Five programs, including Florida, LSU, Ole Miss, Miami, Penn State and Mississippi State.
