Despite being just a rising sophomore at Aquinas High School in San Bernardino, California, 2023 offensive tackle prospect Francis Mauigoa has enough size and potential to draw significant college football interest, and he recently received an offer from Tennessee.
Blessed and honored to have receive an offer from the University of Tennessee all glory and praise goes to God Faafetai Iesu.@CoachBrumbaugh @GregBiggins @adamgorney #SamoamuamuaLeAtua pic.twitter.com/2jdQrGuOE1

Mauigoa is 6-foot-5, 285-pounds, and has already fielded offers from the likes of Michigan, USC, Oregon and Oklahoma. With a list of primarily west-coast teams, Mississippi State – under former Washington State head coach Mike Leach – is the only other SEC school to formally offer Mauigoa.
A very young prospect, Mauigoa’s stock will rise over time as recruiting services dive deeper into rankings for the 2023 class.
