Despite the uncertainty surrounding college football throughout 2020, recruiting has not slowed down for Tennessee’s coaching staff.
The Vols extended an offer to 2022 tight end Kelsey Johnson from Red Oak, Texas.

Tennessee is Johnson’s first SEC offer, but the rising junior at Red Oak High School has already heard from a variety of Division I programs. Kansas, Colorado, UConn and Hawaii have already offered the 6-foot-3, 215-pound prospect.
247Sports rates Johnson as a 3-star, and the No. 20 tight end in his class. Johnson is also listed as the No. 54 prospect in the talent-rich state of Texas.
Tennessee does not yet have any prospects committed to the 2022 recruiting class.
