Williams is a talented run-stopper, and a heavy-set linebacker at 6-foot-3, 220-pounds. Rated the No. 7 prospect in Michigan, 247Sports has Williams as a 4-star prospect and the No. 17 outside linebacker in his recruiting class.
Tennessee defensive backs coach and defensive coordinator Derrick Ansley is Williams’ primary recruiter, and UT is just the second SEC school to offer Williams. Ole Miss was first, joining programs such as Michigan, Arizona State, Maryland, Indiana and others.
Tennessee does not yet have any prospects committed to the 2022 recruiting class.
