While twin brothers, and 2022 prospects, Destin and Keaten Wade may still have two more seasons of high school football to play before signing to their future college programs, they are already drawing attention of SEC coaches — and Tennessee was the latest to offer both.

Out of Summit High School in Spring Hill, Tenn., the Wades will make whatever college coach they choose to play for very happy, especially if the twins come on as a package deal.

Destin is a dual-threat quarterback, standing at 6-foot-3, 205-pounds. He already had offers from Kentucky, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and South Carolina before Tennessee came calling. Wade quarterbacked the Summit Spartans to the 5A State championship game, where they lost to Knoxville Catholic, 30-7, but had a breakout season that saw him throw for 1,341 yards and 17 touchdowns, while rushing for 727 yards and ten touchdowns.

Keaten Wade made a huge impact at outside linebacker, racking up 103 total tackles, 22.5 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks. At 6-foot-4, 215-pounds, Wade has freakish size and athleticism for a high school sophomore. He also dominated at running back in 2019, with 1,152 yards and 15 touchdowns while averaging seven yards per carry, and caught two touchdown passes during the Spartans’ 12-3 run as well. Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss and Texas A&M have posted an offer to Keaten along with Tennessee.

The Wade brothers are a dominant force on the hardwood as well, both starting for the Summit Spartans in one of the tougher basketball districts in the state, 11AAA. Wearing No. 1 and 2 on the basketball court, the Wades are quite literally one of the best one-two punches in the state that play both football and basketball.

Tennessee, Kentucky, Ole Miss and LSU are the only schools so far to offer both brothers, who could very much come as a package deal.
