Josh Heupel was hired as Tennessee’s head coach on Jan. 27.
He comes to Tennessee after a three-year stint as head coach at UCF.
Heupel is in the process of assembling his coaching staff. While assembling a staff, Heupel is recruiting towards the Vols’ 2022 class.
The newly-hired Tennessee head coach has offered 2022 wide receiver Jayden Gibson.
Gibson was initially offered by Heupel in Nov. 2020 at UCF.
The 6-foot-6, 185-pound wide receiver is from West Orange High School in Winter Garden, Florida.
He has Southeastern Conference offers from Tennessee, Arkansas, Florida, Missouri and South Carolina.
The Vols currently do not have a commitment for its 2022 recruiting class.
