Tennessee has had recent success working in the state of North Carolina, reeling in a commitment from 4-star athlete Kaemen Marley of Eastern Randolph High School in Ramseur.
Now, the Vols are on the offer board early for one of Marley’s teammates, 2022 athlete Osiris Ross.
Blessed and grateful to say I’ve been offered by Tennessee University!! #rockytop pic.twitter.com/NPm94Xhlrm

The 5-foot-10, 180-pound athlete is still in the early stages of his recruitment, having only fielded offers from Tennessee and Kentucky, and without any star ratings on 247Sports.
As a former high school coach, Jeremy Pruitt places heavy importance on the quality of programs he gets players from, and establishes connections with programs he feels that does a good job in developing players at the prep level.
For example, Pruitt’s admiration for the St. Frances Academy program in Baltimore has led to UT signing 4-star DT Dominic Bailey in 2020, and securing commitments from 2021 4-stars DT KaTron Evans and OLB Aaron Willis.
Time will tell if the Eastern Randolph High School pipeline pays off beyond Marley, but the Vols took a step in that direction with the pursuit of Ross.
