As Tennessee looks to add to its 2021 recruiting class, the Vols offered defensive end Alex Lemon of Iowa Central Community College a scholarship on Friday.

Lemon has ideal size for his position, at 6-foot-4, 275-pounds. The 247Sports Composite rates him as a 3-star, the No. 13 JUCO prospect in his class, No. 2 strong-side defensive end and the top player in California. Lemon is a native of Spring Valley, California.
Lemon’s recruitment has been busy, with offers from Florida, Auburn, LSU, Nebraska, Oklahoma and others. Tennessee tight ends coach Joe Osovet is his primary recruiter.
Tennessee has one JUCO prospect currently committed to the 2021 class in Hutchinson Community College running back Tiyon Evans.
