Five-star tight end Davon Mitchell announced his top-11 schools.
Tennessee, Penn State, South Carolina, Ohio State, Oregon, Texas, Alabama, USC, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Georgia are Mitchell’s top-11 schools.
The 6-foot-4, 245-pound tight end is from Los Alamitos High School in Los Alamitos, California.
Mitchell is the No. 26 overall prospect in the class of 2025. He ranks as the No. 1 tight end and No. 4 player in the state of California, according to the 247Sports composite.
He earned first-team MaxPreps Sophomore All-American honors and was a first-team District 5-6A selection. Mitchell finished his sophomore season with 33 receptions, 726 receiving yards and nine touchdowns.
Mitchell will take his first visit to Tennessee on March 24. He received an offer from the Vols on May 5, 2022.
