Evans stands at 5-foot-9, 210 pounds and is the No. 1-ranked JUCO running back from Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, Kansas.
Hutchinson running backs coach Greg Cross previously discussed what type of player Tennessee is getting with Evans.
“Tiyon is special,” Cross told Vols Wire. “If I had to describe the type of back he is, he is versatile and is able to make defenders miss and has power to lower his shoulder.”
