Tennessee joins an SEC-loaded list for the Cumming, Georgia native. LSU, South Carolina, Georgia, Auburn and Penn State were also included.
Fairchild rates as a 4-star prospect by the 247Sports Composite, and the No. 9 offensive guard in his class. He is also listed as the No. 158 player in the country and No. 13 player in Georgia.
A 6-foot-5, 298-pound prospect that is also a state champion wrestler, a skill that translates on his football tape. Fairchild is a balanced, explosive run and pass blocker.
Offensive line coach Will Friend is the primary recruiter assigned to Fairchild for Tennessee.
The Vols currently hold the top recruiting class in the SEC for 2021, and the No. 2 class in the country with 18 commitments. Only one offensive lineman has committed in Colby Smith, a 3-star tackle from North Carolina.
