Tennessee is in the running to land 2021 offensive lineman Colby Smith from Reidsville, North Carolina, a 3-star prospect who posted his top five schools on his Twitter page on Thursday.

While Smith could certainly add weight, his 6-foot-7 frame and skill set has attracted college programs across the Eastern part of the United States. Smith has relegated his options down to five schools within driving distance of his North Carolina hometown.
Louisville, North Carolina State, North Carolina and South Carolina are the other options for Smith. The 247Sports Composite rates him as a 3-star, and the No. 31 offensive tackle in his class.
Offensive line coach Will Friend is UT’s primary recruiter for Smith, with running backs coach Jay Graham in support. The Vols currently have ten prospects committed to the 2021 recruiting class, although none of them are offensive linemen.
